Nothing lasts forever except forever and nothing.

Well, that’s not exactly true. I should have started that Tiny Word with “On earth…” because today’s Tiny Words Bible verse reminds us that the word of God lasts forever.

Have you ever tried to wrap your mind around what “forever” actually is? It’s totally impossible to grasp. First of all, we have to completely remove ourselves from the concept of time–which is the impossible part, but let’s give it a try.

Forget for a moment all the things you need to do today. In fact, forget about today… and the next and the next. There is no tomorrow. There is no yesterday. It’s all gone. In fact, it never existed. In out future glory where time does not exist, there will be only God and our eternal perfection in His house that He built for us.

Where do you want to spend eternity? I urge you to close your eyes and have a conversation with God. Ask His son Jesus into your heart. After all, His father’s house has many rooms.

1 Peter 1 : 25

Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart. For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. For, “All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord endures forever.
