Man’s law is – “Innocent until proven guilty”. God’s law is – “Guilty until forgiven”.

Nobody wants to be found guilty of anything. Most of the time, we go to great lengths to prove our innocence, which is the way it should be. Aside from the law itself, the most important factor in the judgement is the judge. Men (or women) make terrible judges. We make mistakes. We overlook things of importance. We let our prejudice influence our decision. Sometimes, the application of the law doesn’t consider extenuating circumstances, if those matter at all.

Prefect justice can only be handed down by a perfect judge. When we were born, we were born into sin within a fallen world. From the first Adam, we are sinful in the eyes of God. But fear not! He loves us and has given us a path to be forgiven – to have the blot wiped clean – as white as snow.

Don’t leave this world without being forgiven. If you do, eternity will not go well with you.

Romans 5 : 19

For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
