The lives you touch are linked in spirit as the sunshine is linked to the flower.

If you’ve ever been outside at sunrise, you know that few things in life feel better than the moment sunlight touches your face.

But in spite of how good it feels, we can live without it. In fact, we can stay inside for weeks at a time – living as a hermit, only coming out to retrieve a GrubHub delivery from the porch. (Keep in mind, I’m not advocating a hermit lifestyle, but we’ve all felt like we’ve embraced that at least on occasions… especially after the last year of quarantined living.)

Flowers don’t have that luxury. If they don’t get sunshine, they die.

But a wilting flower is the beginning of physical death.

Have you ever considered that our spiritual life blossoms through relationships with other people?

God made us to live together. He gave us a spirit of comraderie that is to be shared and enjoyed.

Hebrews 10:24-25

24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
