You’re capable of great things but also capable of believing you’re not capable of great things – which makes you incapable of great things.

The power of the mind is such a vast emptiness that is full of wonder.

Now that I’ve got you completely confused, I think we’ll all agree that the power of positive thinking is a real thing. For some, actually doing it is harder that for others.

There’s an awful lot of baggage wrapped up in one’s ability to manipulate his or her own mind to be positive, which by the way, is beyond the scope of my time for this post as well as my expertise as a student of Sigmund Freud. Besides, I’d rather have God as my therapist.

The yin and yang of today’s Tiny Words. Big Life. post is so apropos for today. Well, you can… but you can’t. Maybe you will or maybe you won’t. These things seem to go round and round and never get out of the loop.

Today’s Tiny Words. Big Life. recommendation is a simple one. Everybody can do it.

Say it.

“I can do this.”

See? That was easy. That’s all there is to it. Don’t let yourself tell you yourself otherwise. Don’t let the words “I can’t do it.” come out of your mouth.

As the prophet Isaiah said, we will soar like eagles. We will run and not grow weary. All we have to do is to have hope in the Lord. He will renew our strength. Let his wings show you what you are capable of.

Isaiah 40 : 31

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
