When our life is over, our soul is sealed in a prepaid envelope bound for eternity. On Calvary, we received the key to the delivery vehicle.

Death is not a fun subject.

It’s not surprising that few people want to discuss it, except for maybe undertakers or gravediggers.

As Christians, in spite of knowing our destination is to be with Jesus for eternity, we struggle with the prospect of death.

Today’s Tiny Words. Big Life. post is not about death, per se. It’s about eternal life.

God’s grace and mercy is beyond what anyone can fathom. He gave His son to die for our sins so that our eternity could be spent glorifying Him in Heaven.

It’s worth noting that the Tiny Words. Big Life. post says that the prepaid envelope is “bound for eternity”. That’s not necessarily a trip to Heaven. There is another direction after all and it’s not going up.

The Tiny Words. Big Life. takeaway is to repent and ask Jesus to be your Savior. There is no other way to Heaven. You can’t get there by boat, plane, or train. The delivery vehicle that was bought and paid for by the blood of Jesus is the only ticket in.
