Behind every door lies a partially exposed path leading to new opportunities for those willing to brush away the debris and step through.

Doors are scary sometimes.

We never really know what’s behind them. Even in cases where we think we know, you don’t know until you open it.

Have you ever felt a sense of relief after opening a door? Maybe there was a little tinge of uncertainty about what lies behind it. Or maybe, you knew what was behind it and didn’t really want to open it. That’s understandable.

Imagine opening a door and all you can see is a jungle with plants and trees so thick that you can barely squeeze through the opening. But just as you finally get through, you see a small path that leads to a beautiful waterfall with lush flowers and grass.

Opportunities in life very often look like that. It takes courage to walk through the door but the rewards can be momentous.

Today’s Tiny Words. Big Life. Bible verse should give us confidence to know that we’ll never walk through a door alone. We simply need faith.

So, the next time you’re facing a door that leads to an unknown and frightening place, grab your machete and swim trunks. The waterfall awaits.

Isaiah 41:10

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
